Physician Assistant Cody Lewis earned his B.A. in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico in 2006. In 2012, he completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at St. Francis University in Albuquerque and began his professional career as a Certified P.A. Since then, Cody’s diverse experience has included primary, acute, adult, and pediatric surgical care in orthopedic environments, as well as primary care and dermatology.
From 2016 to 2023, he participated in “Little Hands, Big Hearts” missions to Trujillo, Honduras—a Christian community organization dedicated to supporting and educating children with disabilities. Fluent in English, Spanish, and German, he brings a wide-ranging set of skills and expertise to his patients.
Cody finds particular meaning in helping patients and families navigate the cancer treatment journey, especially when first facing a diagnosis. “That’s when they most need information and understanding,” he shares. “It’s both challenging and rewarding to provide that kind of comfort.”
